Sales Tip of the Week from Mike Leeds – Pro Sales Coaching
My Top Pet Peeves About Drivers
Some days can be crazy out on the road. Most of it is self-inflicted by nutty drivers. Below are my current top 7 pet peeves about drivers (in no particular order):
- Drivers committing road rage.
- Drivers that are not disabled parking in accessible spaces.
- Drivers conducting (animated) negative non-verbal communication.
- Drivers speeding through school zones.
- Drivers that tailgate.
- Drivers turning left and blocking those behind them the ability to turn right.
- Drivers that throw cigarettes out of their windows.
For salespeople driving company-marked vehicles, the behaviors above can give your prospects or customers a bad impression of you and your company. You need to exhibit professionalism in addition to not breaking any laws.
My list can change daily based on my most recent experiences. What are some of your pet peeves about drivers? Let's start a conversation.
Have a great sales week!
